Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree is conducted under the department of legal studies at Sri Lanka open university. Duration for this undergraduate degree programme is 4 years to complete this LLB degree at Sri Lanka. There is no such age limit to follow this degree programme but you need to face aptitude test and get pass to follow LLB degree at Sri Lanka at Open University . Sri Lanka Law College only provides professional qualifications which say Attorney-at-Law but they do not provide any degrees. But for those who complete Attorney-at-Law at Sri Lanka Law College can enter in to LLB degrees at Open University at level 4. For those who complete Bachelor of Laws Duration for this undergraduate degree programme is 4 years to complete this LLB degree at Sri Lanka under Open University must do the final year of Sri Lanka Law College and 6 months apprentice to become Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka.
Entry Qualifications
Successfully completed any Open University Foundation Course at Levels 1 and 2
or
Pass General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination under old syllabus or new syllabus.
or
Secured an equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate
or
Be an attorney-at-law
Selection Procedure
Those who wish to enter in to follow LLB Degrees under Open University must sit for a aptitude test conducted at Sri Lankan open university. Those who pass this aptitude test can follow this degree programme.

Medium of Study
Sri Lanka open university decides whether to follow this Law degree programme at Sinhala , Tamil or English language by considering number of students and lectures availability. For exams student can give answer in main 3 languages and the text books provided by Level 5 and Level 6 in English Language.
