Advanced Certificate in Technology
Advanced Certificate in Technology is the preliminary Open University Engineering Courses those who need to follow who not got the required qualifications under Advanced Level in Math’s Stream but need to do foundation course befor enter this Open University Engineering Courses. Duration for Advanced Certificate in Technology are two years.
Diploma in Technology (DTech) in Engineering
To Enter in to Diploma in Technology (DTec) in Engineering programme needs 3 passes in GCE (A/L) Mathematics stream or Passes in Foundation courses for Technology at the OUSL or Any other equivalent or higher qualification. Diploma in Technology in engineering course is three years progrmme and this qualification is equivalent to HNDE, NDT and NDES progrmes and they got the benefits and opportunity of engineering diploma holders in Sri Lanka as well as aboard. Those who completed Diploma in Technology got the chance to follow Bachelor of Technology (Engineering) degree programme (B Tech).
Bachelors of Technology (BTech) in engineering
Bachelors of Technology (BTech) in engineering course is five years progrmme and this qualification is equivalent to the four year Engineering program in government university and they are also eligible to get Assocaiate membership of IESL. Those who follow this program got grate acdamamic knowledge with practical hands-on exercises too.
