 Qualifications Required Enter Sri Lanka Scientific Service

Applicant Should be a Sri Lankan Citizen and He/She Should be of a good moral character and should have a sound mental and physical fitness to work any part of Sri Lanka.

The primary qualification to apply for this position is the obtain a BSc degree in the relevant field to use for this posts.

Profession: Assistant Director

Having obtained a specialized four-year degree in Botany
Botanical Gardens or Agriculture with a first or second class from

Required Qualifications

university recognized by the University Grants Commission or a degree awarding institution known by the University Grants Commission ;

or

Having obtained a Special Degree in Botany or Agriculture with a general pass from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission and a Post Graduate Degree with at least two years duration with a thesis in Ecology, Forestry, Plant Taxonomy, and Conservation or Horticulture or landscaping ;

or

Having obtained a General Degree in Botany or Agriculture from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission and a Post Graduate Degree with at least two years duration with a thesis in Ecology, Forestry
