Entrance Eligibility Qualifications fro KDU Electrical Engineering MSc in Sri Lanka
Degree of the Bachelor of Science (Defense Studies) or Bachelor of Science in Engineering of General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University (KDU) in a relevant field of specialization,
OR
Any other Engineering degree of at least four years’ duration, in relevant field of specialization, from a recognized university,
OR
Any other Engineering degree of at least three years’ duration, in a relevant field of specialization, from a recognized university AND a minimum of one year of appropriate experience after obtaining the degree,
OR
Associate Membership or above (satisfying the educational requirements for Corporate Membership or similar graduate membership) of a recognized professional engineering institute in a relevant field AND a minimum of one year of appropriate experience after obtaining such membership.
Duration of the Program
This postgraduate programme is conducted on Saturdays and Sundays for a period of one/two years. The first year is dedicated for taught course modules and second year is for the research project.
The Medium of Study
Medium of instruction will be in English for this Postgraduate Diploma/MSc in Electrical Engineering programme.
Application Selection procedure
Candidates will be selected through an aptitude test and interview.
Programme Structure
The programme is designed with 40 credit for PG diploma in the first year and additional 20 credit research project leading to MSc in second year. The classes are conducted on weekends.
