Lalith Atulathmudali Vocational Training Center (LAVTC) is one of highly recognized vocational training center in Sri Lanka which managed by the youth service council of Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. This institute conducts over 100 of vocational programmers in Sri Lanka. The institute was established to commemorate late Hon. Minister Lalith Atulathmudali. The institute conducts 3 month short courses, Six month and year course under different areas of studies. This institute was located in rathmalana and thos who sucessfully completed the vocational programs at this institute got higher job oppertunities. Entery qualifications for most of the vocational programms are passing G.C.E Ordinary Level Exam . All the major Programs are dividing in to following sections such as follows.
NVQ Courses
Lalith Atulathmudali Vocational Training Center (LAVTC) also provides quality National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Courses accredited by The Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanaka which got International recognition also. There is a huge demand for NVQ qualified persons for job oppertunitis in private and public sector of Sri Lanka . NVQ qualification also highly recongized on overseas also.
